Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This policy explains how Power Vape Shop uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, on this website. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. They are widely used to make websites work and to remember your choices.
What we use
At the moment we only use the essential cookies and storage listed below. They are needed to run the shop, for example to keep your basket and to remember that you have confirmed you are over 18, so they are set without asking for consent.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| pvs_store | Cookie | Keeps your basket and sign-in working while you browse. | Until you close your browser |
| pvs_age_ok | Cookie | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over. | 30 days |
| pvs_cookie_consent | Cookie | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner. | 3 days |
| pvs_cart | Local storage | Remembers your basket on this device. | Until you complete an order or clear your browser data |
| pvs_checkout | Session storage | Holds a reference to your order while you check out and pay. | Until you close the tab or finish your order |
| pvs_checkout_info | Local storage | Only if you tick “Save this information for next time” at checkout: keeps your contact and delivery details on this device to speed up your next order. | Until you untick the box on a later order or clear your browser data |
Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we start to, they will only be set if you choose “Accept All” on our cookie banner, and we will list them here. If you choose “Reject Non-Essential”, only the essential items above are used.
Cookies from other companies
When you pay, you are taken to the secure payment page of our payment provider, Viva Wallet. Viva Wallet may set its own cookies on that page. We do not control them, so please see Viva Wallet's own cookie and privacy information.
Managing your choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time by deleting the pvs_cookie_consent cookie in your browser; the banner will then appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but without the essential ones, parts of the shop such as the basket and checkout will not work.
